On Friday 26th July, IMDb hosted a brilliant party celebrating the MGM+ show From.

From is set in a town that traps those who enter and prevent them from leaving. The unwilling residents strive to stay alive and search for a way out, while plagued by terrifying nocturnal creatures from the surrounding forest and secrets hidden in the town.

On entry to the event, attendees were given an IMDb captain hat as well as an IMDb tote bag.

Guest were then ushered up to top deck where they could enjoy specialised cocktails and appetisers. The prosciutto wrapped shrimp was honestly the best canapé we have ever had at a Comic Con event, and we may have gone back for one (okay, several) more.

Continuing to serve up incredible food (IMDb takes the winner of best food at Comic Con this year), guests were invited in to graze on a cheese and charcuterie station, then move onto a plethora of mains including brisket and mac and cheese, before finishing up at the mini dessert station.

Several of the cast/crew were in attendance to celebrate season 2 and look forward to season 3, and were really engaging with attendees.

Series star Harold Perrineau was on top form, eager to chat with fans about the show. When questioned about the shocking season 2 finale and how that would impact season 3, he didn’t give anything away but couldn’t hide his excitement, exclaiming “Just you wait and see”.

The IMDb From event was a huge success and one of our top parties at Comic Con this year. Fantastically organised and executed, with a great atmosphere, fans and talent alike had an amazing time. We didn’t think it was possible but people left even more hyped up for season 3 than before. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long as season 3 premieres on September 22nd 2024.
