It’s no secret that as a kid, I was a huge Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan. And like so many others in my age group, Amy Jo Johnson was my first crush. So, while scrolling through tiktok the other day, I was absolutely stoked to come across this track by Candi Carpenter.

They do say that the song was obviously written from the perspective of a young girl, realising some new things about themselves. But I hope no one minds me relating to the love for pterodactyls and kick ass Rangers.

The song itself is just absolutely infectious and has a great 90s vibe to it, though it is absolutely fresh. I can’t wait till the 29th of this month when I get myself a copy of this album.
