37 year old Morimoto Shoji has one of the worlds most interesting jobs. His job is literally “rent a person who does nothing”. 

He mostly just follows you about, he eats a little, drinks a little, he gives basic responses to questions. In the video you see Shoji follow a man to honor his friend on his birthday. Shoji even gets hired out by people who just wants someone to listen to them.

In a world where we are even more disconnected this just makes sense, though the concept has a certain adorable side, but on the other hand it is completely heart breaking. In the end it is a very interesting job, but I doubt many could do it.
