Im a big fan of this franchise, and seeing how Amazon handled The Boys, well, I think they are the studio to bring this video game to the small screen.

Starring Ryoma Takeuchi as Kazuma Kiryu and Kento Kaku as Nishikiyama Akira, the story takes place in the fictional Kamurochō district in Japan. This show will apparently take place over a period of ten years, but I hope that does not mean they are going to rush anything.

Our main character is Kazuma Kiryu, one of the most badass and honourable characters in fiction. If they can capture a fraction of his awesomeness this show will be epic.

And if you where worried about the quality of the show and if it will stay faithful to the original source material, then feel relieved because Masayoshi Yokoyama, who worked on the original video game series serves as an executive producer for the series.
