The Greatest Fighting Game Ever is Returning

You would not believe the le hths I’ve gone to replaying Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I had to track down a copy of the game, get my Dreamcast cleaned up, buy new wires to connect my Dreamcast to my modern TV and then I had to go hunt down a new controller and VMU. It was worth it, but it was so much work, and i am more than satisfied to see it available for purchase again. Not only that, but it brought some friends.

Honestly, if you are unfamiliar with the Marvel vs Capcom series, these are a great place to start.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is fine, but it makes in comparison to classics like includes X-Men vs. Street Fighter (1996), Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (1998) and Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (2000).

This collection will also include The Punisher arcade game. And several of the fighting games will also include a few new additions to their rosters such as X-Men: Children of the Atom enables the ability to play as Magneto and Juggernaut for the first time in an official capacity, as does Marvel Super Heroes introduce playable versions of Doctor Doom, Thanos and Anita; Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes also features an officially playable depiction of Cyber Akuma.

On top of that, they will have plenty of online features and new options when it comes to adjusting the settings.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is scheduled to be released later this year for Switch, PlayStation 4, and also Windows.
