Seven films in and the Transformers franchise shows no sign of stopping . The next films will be taking a different route than the last few, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will apparently be taking some of its plot elements from Transformers:Beast Wars. 

And the lead role of Optimus Primal will be played by Ron Perlman !

Primal is a distinct character from Optimus Prime but both are well respected leaders of their own factions.

With his distinct vocals I think Perlman will be perfect for bringing this character to life.
