Oh Mr Cage you seem to be in a Renaissance with several good films coming out in rapid succession and from what I have heard this is one of his absolute best films ever. Set in 1983 Mandy tells the tale of Red Miller who lives in the wilderness near the Shadow Mountains in Eastern California. Red eventually meets and falls for the mysterious Mandy, all is well until she is taken from him by an evil cult. This leads to Red loosing his grip on the world round him and hunting down the cult where by he can have his retribution on those that hurt him.

A film that is highly stylized and uses Nic Cage to his full ability, sign me up for this one! It looks dark, vivid and gorgeous all round. Mandy may truly be one of the most unique films out there and one that I will be watching ASAP.
