As much as I am into the idea of this film I am worried that perhaps its a little to out there for most people. Luckily we the viewers have Peter Jackson to help bring this extravagant epic to the big screen. This steam punk tale is set in a world where many major cities have become huge mobile fortresses that roam a post apocalyptic waste land devouring any smaller city that gets in their way. Its a weird idea but that’s what films are for, to bring us the weird and wonderful, to take us to worlds that we will never see and for those who doubt this film you should realize that Philip Reeves original book spawned three sequels with fans still wanting more, so maybe we should give this film the chance it deserves.
