Using examples from Baldur’s Gate 3, including characters like Alfira, Rolan, and Ellyka, we explore how shared hardship can create powerful bonds of solidarity—or drive fierce independence. By reflecting on real-world experiences of marginalised communities, the video asks a deeper question: when the world has already decided who you are, how do you choose who to become?
