It really hurts me to say this, but I’m not so sure about Netflix’s New Gundam series…

With the success of One Piece and YuYu Hakusho, I was hoping for big things from Gundam Requiem. And in some ways, I think I may be happy, but overall, something has let me down.

Firstly, it seems the series has kept the more serious tone, which I love. Secondly, it has some stunning visuals, also love, and thirdly, it’s giving is a unique perspective of a soldier on the front line.

But what let’s it down is the dubbing. Nothing is lining up in the trailer, and anything we do hear comes off as flat and lifeless. How did this get to trailer?
