A film where Elijah Wood tracks across New Zealand with a little person? Sign me up.

“11 year old Mildred’s world is turned upside-down when her estranged father, the washed-up magician Strawn Wise comes to look after her and agrees to take her camping to find a mythological beast known as the Canterbury Panther.”

Elijah really shines here, and I am here for it. The film looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun but pretty heartfelt.

It’s just due out August this year, so keep your eyes peeled.
