MCM LONDON MAY 2024 COSPLAY

It’s been seven days since MCM ended, and I’m still blown away by how great the cosplay was at this year’s event. There is so much talent, passion, love, and fun. I’m so glad this hobby has come into the mainstream. And MCM is definitely the place to see it all.

With the cast of One Piece in attendance, it was no shock that there was so much One Piece cosplay on display.

But of course, some of the classics need to be done too.

Especially anything from Ghibli.

Though I was surprised to see multiple Cardcaptor cosplays this year, as well as My Hero Academia, Bleach, and Darling in the Franxx.

Though it wasn’t just anime, there were plenty of Japanese video games too.

And with the Baldurs Gate cast in attendance, we had some amazing BG3 cosplay too.

When Baldurs Gate meets Critical Role

And speaking of Critical Role.

As with any convention, there is plenty of Genshin Impact cosplay.

And I absolutely loved this live performance.

We really need more KDA at conventions.

But it’s always nice to see a Disney princess in attendance.

And some Tron.

This guy proves that the Indiana Jones fandom does not belong in a museum.

The first two cosplayers I spoke too and they were at absolute joy.

Seriously, thank you to anyone who stopped to work with me.

Really loved this Gold Stormtrooper look.

I was a Mercy player, so I’m glad to see my girl being represented at MCM.

My absolute favourite cosplay from the weekend, it’s a real niche joke, but this, one was fabulous.

And what would a convention be without Gothams finest?

So what was your favourite?
