Please don’t destroy might be one of SNL’s best new additions. And the fact that they have their very own movie coming out is just magical.

Please Don’t Destroy is a comedy group in New York City consisting of Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy, who began collaborating as students at NYU.

They originally started in 2017. The group performed monthly comedy shows, appeared at the New York Comedy Festival and produced sketch videos posted to YouTube. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they began creating shorter videos for TikTok and Twitter. This would cumulate with the squad joining SNL.

While on SNL their sketches vary. Many were basic and involved the troupe in their office with a guest where surreal and mad antics ensued.

Eventually they would move onto more weird and elaborate scenarios.

Their videos are just bizarre and weird, but utterly hilarious. It was only logical that they would get their own film, one that sees several cameos from other SNL Alumni and the legendary Conan O’Brien.

Their film is titled The Legend of Foggy Mountain and is about Three childhood friends who live and work together, don’t like where their lives are headed, and set off to find gold treasure rumored to be buried on a nearby mountain.

I’m a weird dude who likes a good laugh so this film definitely speaks to me.
