Babylon 5 was a truly ambitious TV series, a science fiction show that was about the push for peace rather than the road to war.
The show ran for five seasons and had multiple TV movies. It followed the human crew of the space station Babylon 5 along with diplomats from multiple alien species. It was a truly unique series and incredibly underrated but has a strong hardcore following. But it looks like Warner is bringing it back out of retirement with a new animated movie.
This new film will follow John J. Sheridan who was the lead character in Babylon 5, played by Bruce Boxleitner, as in the original Tron. For most of the series, he is the commander of the Babylon 5 station until he moves into politics.
John Sheridan travels across the galaxy as he unexpectedly finds himself transported through multiple timelines and alternate realities in a quest to find his way back home. Along the way, he reunites with some familiar faces, while discovering cosmic new revelations about the history, purpose, and meaning of the Universe.
I know this sounds a lot, but I think Warner will use film as a way to bring in new fans
