Taking the setting from California and moving it to Seattle it looks like Bloodlines 2 is going to be a lot more gritty than its predecessor. If you are new to the franchise then I shall explain the basic ins and outs. The games see you as a new transformed vampire caught in a centuries old gang war between rival factions of vampires. But it is not just Vampires you are dealing with there will also be werewolves and demons too, all of which help create this “World of Darkness”.

While playing you will be forced to do jobs for your faction, in the trailer you see yourself hunting a creature down, but to do so you need information and then you need to track him, it is an interesting premise and one I am looking forward to exploring.

The game seems to involve a certain sense of realism which will help keep it grounded. Also I like the fact that you need to keep in the shadows and you cannot openly use your powers and will also have a variety of weapons to fight your unholy enemies. Plus unlike the original this game seems to have steered away from the overtly sexual in favor of a more subtle and befitting ideal, that suits the vampire motif.
