It looks like we are getting closer to when the free tickets will finally be made available for Conan’s live tapings during San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 as they have revealed his exclusive Funko Pop set. For those lucky enough to get a ticket to any of his tapings between Wednesday 20th and Saturday 23rd July, 2016 they will be given one of the limited edition and exclusive Funko Pops after each taping. They will be airing the Conan tapings between Wednesday 20th  July, 2016 to Sunday 24th July, 2016 but the tapings at San Diego will be from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 24th July, 2016.

If you attend the taping on Wednesday 20th July, 2016 you could be given the Conan Stormtrooper Funko Pop, if you attend the taping on Thursday 21st July, 2016 you could get the Superman Conan Funko Pop, if you attend the taping on Friday 22nd July, 2016 you could get the Ghostbuster Conan Funko Pop and last but not least if you attend the taping on Saturday 23rd July, 2016 you will get your hands on the Joker Conan Funko Pop. The order in which each Funko Pop is given out is based on a theory in that they are given out in the order they appear in the photo, just like last year. However those who attend on Saturday will definitely get the Joker Funko Pop since that day’s guests are Suicide Squad cast.

The only guests so far confirmed for any of the Conan tapings during San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 is the cast of Suicide Squad on Saturday 23rd July, 2016. Could the cast of Justice League be the guests on Conan since there is a Superman Conan Funko Pop? Ben Affleck did recently answer a fan’s question that he would be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con International 2016. Could the Star Wars Rogue One cast be guests on Conan since the one of the Funko Pop’s is Stormtrooper Conan? That could be wishful thinking but you never know. Could the Ghostbusters cast be guests on Conan since there is a Ghostbuster Conan Funko Pop?

The only one we know for sure is the Suicide Squad on Saturday as everything else is pure speculation. Even last year the only Funko Pop related to the guests appearing the same day was The Walking Dead cast when the zombie Conan was the Funko Pop exclusive that day.

Supplies are limited, and details will be posted on the Comic-Con® website. The figures will not be available at the Funko booth.

In addition, the world of CONAN will be put on full display through a virtual reality experience at the TBS Comic-Con® booth on the convention floor.

In addition to show tapings and giveaways, CONAN will be the focus of a unique virtual reality experience located at TBS’s Comic-Con® booth on the convention floor. The experience will give attendees an exclusive peek into Conan O’Brien’s world, both on and offstage, as seen through the eyes of a Conan Pop! Vinyl figure.

To promote CONAN‘s expanding Comic-Con® presence, TBS will feature Conan Pop! Vinyl figures extensively in on-air spots and within various off-channel media, including a banner on the Marriott South wall, wrapped trolleys and bus shelters. In addition, TBS will take over San Diego International Airport with messaging featuring the Pop! Vinyl figures throughout the entire footprint, including baggage claims, pedestrian sky bridges and escalators.

Date: Live tapings take place between Wednesday 20th- Saturday 23rd July 2016 although it will air between Wednesday 20th July to Sunday 24th July.2016.

Cost: Tickets are free but they are not available yet, the link to claim tickets when they are made available is https://conan.1iota.com/show/370/Conan . Once you’ve claimed your ticket online, you will need to collect your ticket in person on the day of taping so don’t forget to bring your ID. There will also be standby tickets available from 8AM each morning, last year those with tickets and those in standby queued together in one queue so it may seem long but it isn’t as bad as you think it will be. Although for those on standby be prepared to queue up much earlier then 8AM if you want to stand any chance of getting a ticket especially for Saturday’s taping with the Suicide Squad cast. There is limited availability each day for standby tickets so like everything else at San Diego Comic-Con International you need to put in the time and queue for long hours.

Guests: Suicide Squad has been confirmed as guests for Conan’s live taping in San Diego on Saturday 23rd July although which cast members appearing has yet to be announced. Silicon Valley cast will also be guests, which day they will appear has yet to be announced.
